Konvertible is looking for collaborators! Do you knit, grow plants, crochet, do carpenty, tinker, build things, make ceramics, work with your hands, sew, make things or just want to learn?
Open Workshops from 12 Oct 2010 Bedford creative arts
Konvertible is new project by visual artist Lisa Cheung and industrial designer Sammy Delgado Escobar. Konvertible is an "open source" workshop, inviting makers, craftspeople and hobbyists to participate and collaborate in making a range of innovative, fun and affordable design objects. Konvertible needs your creativity, talents and enthusiasm! All products will be "Made in Bedford" with local materials and local talent. They will be showcased and for sale in the "Mobile Kiosk" which will visit various locations including Bedford Market from November onwards. Konvertible also welcomes makers who would like to display their own works in the "Mobile Kiosk" to participate. Let us know about your creations!

Konvertible es el colectivo de diseño móvil de la artista visual Lisa Cheung y el diseñador industrial Sammy Delgado Escobar que invita a fabricantes, artesanos y aficionados a participar en la producción de una gama de innovadores y divertidos objetos de diseño accesible. Todos los productos serán "Hecho en Bedford" con materiales y talento local, y serán los protagonistas en la venta en el "Kiosco Móvil", que visitará varios lugares incluyendo el mercado municipal de Bedford a partir de noviembre. ¡En Konvertible necesitamos tu creatividad, talento y entusiasmo!
